I and Claude have managed to hack the latest firmware so that
A. It adopts the A6 disk management
B. It’s max format level is upped to 750 mb it’s that level as I have a 7 zip installed.
Hopefully the a6 disk management allows either a hard drive or a standard ide to cf adapter.
However I’m reluctant to test it for obvious reasons. So I’m looking for daring testers, it might be of use to someone with a failed zip and has nothing to loose.
Does anyone know if a bricked unit is normally recoverable using the midi update method.

Looks like it’s already been done and is working apparently .
