I don't think you're Zindan, but I've always suspected he dropped from the battles until he could get his hands on a MKII. And since he reappeared the other week along with a guarantee that he's no longer insane (his words not mine) and mentioned that he's entering the battles again, I reckon that means he got his hands on a MKII.

I hope that means you’ll all be entering!

I like the selection of samples but I won't be participating yet. Once I have an instrument to hand I'll start entering the battles, but not right now. You peeps are beat-driven but I'm not. You lot can find inspiration in working like that, but personally I feel like I need an instrument to help me flesh out ideas even if it never got used in the finished beat.

SP404MKII with some spice sampled from yt and a drum pattern at 1:40
Rec with the resample tech but i forgot to remove the fx so it sound weird lol

used the SP404A ran thru my Behringer mixer and only used sounds from the provided samples. this is my first ever beat battle submission too, I definitely wanna continue to get better with hardware only sample based production as I'm pretty comfortable with playing instruments/synths and using Ableton. Shoutout ABOM for getting me in the forum. peace
