Bruh, that's not what I was expecting to see when you advertised "The Perfect Pair", but as long as you enjoy playing with them I guess they have at least some things in common!

TGN: Man, you weren't kidding about the condition, very nice find!

Danswift: I thought you said you sold the Juno-G and put it towards a Virus TI or something.

No..I still have the Juno-G ,there's not much point selling a synth with a screen that doesn't function properly...you'd be lucky to get the price for a round of drinks in the boozer but there's still plenty of sounds I can use and manipulate though, there are very easy workarounds.

The Virus TI was on loan from a friend of mine, there's still a possibility I'll purchase one although currently I'm looking at both the ASM HydraSynth and the Super 6 from UDO.

Bruh, I'm still on Version 5 of Ableton Live and love it

No plans of upgrading it either cause it's as simple, clean and effective now as it was when I bought it. It's a different workflow to most but its design still feels simpler and more direct to me than the others so I'm glad I stuck with it.
Danswift wrote:... although currently I'm looking at both the ASM HydraSynth ...
For a while I also started looking at the HydraSynth, which is a wonder for me cause I usually hate wavetable synths. Must admit though, the HydraSynth definitely stands out and sounds very nice indeed.

In the end though, I ditched the idea, not because of the synth itself but because they'd given it an arpeggiator instead of a key-transposable step sequencer. The amount of space they spent on that arpeggiator is a bit crazy in my opinion and I would much rather have seen lesser knobs in that area and two rows of eight buttons for a step sequencer instead. Something that works along the lines of how the polyphonic KeyStep step sequencers work.

If they had done that I think I would have bought the 49-Key version.
