Liked how you build it up with that video game intro and the use of the vocals! I initially tried that too but couldnt get it working for me! Lovely squelchy bass

TGN
Nice intro! The ace of base worked well!! Enjoyed the lofi sounding drums and cinematic filtered swells!!

Waywardpressman
Liked the use of the samples! Some nice melodic work and the drums sounded nice and crisp! Reminded me of something on the Naked Lunch movie

Kel
Nice intro! The accapella worked well! Loved how you used the vocal chops about 1.16 in, would loved to have heard that used more!

Chopperman
Great use of the samples, loved the bass and the video, also loved the pace of the track

Voted TGN but nice work all round

Voted Asha C again, sounded really well put together and tripped along nicely!

SIDENOTE:
I was not able to listen to Chopperman's entry due to where he posted it and I refuse point blank to visit any of Zuckercunt's websites.

There's nothing "lame" about avoiding Facebook bruh, and it is Facebook I am avoiding, not Chopperman's submission. I assure you I feel perfectly fine, confident and completely non-lame in my decision to not visit Cuntberg's Facebook!

Some of us have standards bruh, and things called 'ethics'.

Obviously I would love to have heard Chopperman's submission before placing my vote, but it is not happening. By making the decison to not visit Facebook, I can absolutely guarantee that posting on Facebook has left Chopperman at a disadvantage. This is because regardless of whether Chopperman were to win this battle, he is still potentally one vote down on what he might have been if he had not requested that people visit a website owned by Cuntberg.

There are ways and means of dealing with monsters like Facebook and its owner, and the one I just practiced would kill-off Facebook over night if everyone else had the decency to practice the same good ethics that I just practiced by refusing to visit the place.

I'm afraid your comment is typical of those who have been brain-washed into thinking and behaving exactly the way they want you to think and behave. No hate intended in this response, neither to you nor Chopperman, but you need to respect other people's decisions and not attack them for having good ethincs, because the fact of the matter is I could (and should) attack you both for having such stinking-bad ethics!

Instead I chose to handle the matter like the Gentleman with a conscience that I am.

I do not wish to continue this debate since this is a Beat Battle, and I will end it right now with a quote I am especially fond of and it is this ...

"You are young, you are foolish, and you will learn." ...

I was just new boot goofin'! It did feel kinda lame to post an instagram link but I didn't give it much thought, similar to my beat and video which can now be seen here on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/LofiHipHop/com ... urce=share
Dope round, respect to all! Had to go with Asha.

Great to finally hear your beat bro, it would have been very hard to choose between your beat and Asha's, so in hindsight you actually made it easier for me by saving me having to choose!

Looks like a three-way tie is approaching, and that just sounds kinky to me!

TGN picked up some swing on vacation! Love it. The bass was, er, ace... kept everything anchored and lent an undercurrent of menace. Dug the horn hook.

Asha solid as usual too. Liked the variety in the beat, the synth gave it some extra movement and warmth, and the rhodes loop kept the whole thing light on its feet. (And thanks for the glorious samples!)

I'm usually sceptical of a capellas, but Kel convinced me otherwise this time. Super chill vibe, vox and horn lines woven in beautifully.

But I'm given it to chopperman, purely on the basis of how deftly you stitched those chops together. Especially those string one shots that are scattered around the horn lines. Really clean, really understated, really good!
