one of my favorite aspects of beat-making is to remix an acapella with a beat that sounds totally different in tone from the original

for this battle you will have to not only make a beat from the given sample but also must use an acapella from whatever song you want (any genre)
the only stipulation is that the acapella must be from a song from the last 5 years. no classic 90s shit.

get creative with the acapella choice.
be inventive with your beats.

First post - Glad to get it started. Put this together on the SP404A, bounced to a loop pedal, then back to the SP for some compression and eq.
