P606 is outdated, sadly. It was good in 2004 but has now been surpassed by even freeware sequencers.

If you are keen on P606, get Kinetic 2; it's the same but way better, and comes with a manual.

I just posted a Vid about the P606 it's not much, but Yes I will be making more and also I will post one Detailed Vid about Cakewalk Kinetic 2 and Roland Sp606 workflow..

The P606 is not rewire it is a standalone unit.. Cakewalk Kinetic 2 is a rewire into any software.. very nice..

Hey 606man I would probably check out the P606 I did find it faster to access samples and get any samples on a PC than K2... Who knows even though it's dead you might find some resurrection (if you do please share)

Also for the Vidoe check out the production techniques sub-forum "Attention SP-Users" topic you will find the video in there.. Please keep in mind it will mostly likely not help you but may give you some ideas on work flow .......maybe...

I'm pretty sure P606 doesn't work on Windows Vista - I'll try to install it and see if it works. Most other software seems to work, even the stuff that's not supposed to, so we'll see.
