The sp 404 does it all

this is my third week with the sp 404 and man i can do it all with it. I dont need any bass module or bass synth the sp does it, the one track sequencer isn't an issue once you know how to resample at the correct volumes you can do so much with this thing it is amazing and still fun as the first day that i got it! Man the deep bass that i can create with this thing is crazy most synths dont have basses that can match this once you apply the right effects. I guess i dont need that s2000 i thought that i needed after all, screw timestretch! I can chop my beats up and would never need to loop anything! This is the greatest sampler ever! Once i figure out how to get that low sine wave bass out this thing i will be set! Right now the bass sounds like a tb 303 (dont know if thats what it is really called but you know what im talking about) this is really a thing that you have to learn and wont need anything else with it if used properly except a multitrack recorder me im using a tape deck will have beat tape out soon still learning the ins and outs.

awesome man it's a dope machine glad you're liking it. you're right it's a deep piece of gear. it rewards deep study / practice, yet it's immediately compelling and fun to use. like they say, a minute to learn, a lifetime to master. =)

nah the 404 is just too limiting man, you NEED an MPC if you gonna get serious ..................................................................
