First of all, really impressed. Yes it is basic, but it sounds awesome.
1 - looks like there is no resample feature, is this correct? (I read that people use an external recorder to bounce the samples out to, then sample in from the external recorder)
2 - Is there a way to copy a sample? I see that you can create backups of bank C/D if you have a memory card, but it seems like you can only load the backups back into C/D, which would overwrite whatever is already there?
Or can you load the backup of C/D into the A/B bank?
Thanks!

Samples.

No resample, no copy, sadly. You will have to get creative, i use different recorders and samplers to bounce Back and forth, every single one makes it sound different.
So have fun and try everything.

that seems like more of a portable field recorderVelvetV12Shame wrote:is a zoom h5 a recorder that can do this with the sp202?
i'd say something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tascam-424-mkI ... SwZUNf4FIU or like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tascam-DP-03SD ... Swos5dE8ur is your best bet (i wish i had one, i could make way better beats with my 202 if i did)
or you could just get an interface and use a DAW to record things https://www.amazon.com/Focusrite-Scarle ... a?dchild=1
that would be the easiest and most cost effective method, also allows for much more versatility
