Sp 303 buzzing noise from turntable

So just got an sp 303, already have a 202.
problem is when i hook it up to my tunrtable, it makes a massive buzzing noise.
I've tried the turntable in the 202 and there is no noise, and ive also sampled into the 303 through the same inputs but with rca to aux and that works fine.

Help would be appreciated

Its probably a grounding issue
