Which one do you prefer the most ?
Madvillain's Madvillainy or King Geedorah's Take Me To Your Leader. Feel free to comment both rapping and producing techniques.

from a pure rap perspective, madvillainy is better overall to me. i dont have to go into details yall already know the wordplay and style is unmatched and timeless, plus the chemistry from madlib and doom living together is something that just isnt there with all the features on Take me to your leader.

Both great albums and personal favorites. Depends on ur style. Madvillain was more epic. Slicker both in production and flows. King G was that early MF Doom. Closer to the work he did w Grimm & the Monsta Island Czars... and he was repping his geedorah persona so the flow is totally different. U trade the Madlib beats for some of that choppy doom style production. Geedorah was more of an underground banger... art for arts sake. I think an argument could b made that madvillainy actually set out w a goal of making a big record... commercial success was part of the motive, on some level. King geedorah wasn’t influenced in that way, or to lesser degree. I like geedorah because it’s more raw. Also a fan of the MIC’s and their overall aesthetic. Still got love for madvill, but that’s the mainstream underground.
The features on Geedorah r from his early click which he pretty much abandons when he becomes famous. I feel the success that madvill brought extinguished doom’s fire & lead to a bunch of derivative collabo albums, starting w dangerdoom.
I’m also partial to doom rapping over his own beats. He seems more engaged than in a lot of his collaborative efforts... not talking about madvill here. I think his production is pretty underrated.

Reed Richards... from the Fantastic Four. Actually plays a key role in the Dr. Doom origin story (comic book stuff). Him & Viktor Von Doom r homies & friendly rivals at school together before an accident that leads to Viktor’s face getting mangled & him donning the mask. Probably one of the Monsta Island Czars repping an alter ego, maybe just for this project.
I got the comic books if u want to borrow em.

^hahah great explanation my dude! Happy to see a fellow comic book enthusiast here (although I'm sure there's many more too.
)
But as for which I prefer, probably MadVillainy, there's just something about that deadly combination of madlib and DOOM that beats on my eardrums in the best way possible. Don't get me wrong, I love Take Me to Your Leader. But, MadVillain is just buttery as fuck to me.
