recently i figured out the problem. one thing i do now, when exporting pad with a longer sample is put the pad on gate and have loop off. that helped some but i still had freezes here n there
just last night i found that another issue. sometimes i was hitting rec button to export while i was still holding\highlighting the pad i was exporting. and it causes a freeze! so now i just select the pad. be sure and release. then i export
simple stuff. wish i had noticed earlier. i have lost some time and sleep over this.
not sure if anyone has this problem tho? i dont see it mentioned ever.

i know i have guilt turning off my 404 while its stuck exporting so many times. i feel abusive now
