Bass line and some sort of lead melody from a synth.
Wobble on bass from a lo pass filter, manual sweeps/LFO/Wah
As long or short as you like

All sequenced on an SP
Anyone up for this?

Failed as far as tempo is concerned... sorry. This can be a non-entry if need be.

I had some chops from the last SPBB that I never put to use on the 404, so I used the drums and piano from the battle samples & sequenced them on the 404. Then I added the bass from the internal synth on the 808... and added lots of wah to meet the filter specifications (I think...). Also added the high synth line from another sample source.

Fuck!! Fucking Zip discs, was just finishing off my entry and my zip disc seems to have corrupted, when I try and load the song it just say error and all the sample banks are fucked! I Feel a bit despondent now, probably not gona get my enthusiasm up to start again, been working on the track for a week or so..
Had quite a few beats on there that I had made and they are all corrupted now too

Ok made this since yesterdays annoyance! Slight atmospheric type synth off Volca FM, Main Bass synth off 808 with some x-mod and LFO tempo live tweeking. Sequenced on 808.

^great track! Love that distorted synth and the various stutters & skips in the drums!

I feel ur pain on the zips. I just had a couple discs that I’ve been using for years start going out at the same time... plus my drive was showing major fatigue. Hard to isolate the issue cause it was all going my bad at the same time. I didn’t lose anything, but I had a couple beats that developed some annoying glitches as they were getting bounced down.

knocked out something this afternoon, but overlooked the tempo.. i never use the pattern-sequencer and my internal tempo tends to sit around 65-85 range... the one i just made is around 75. If that disqualifies it i won't bother...

Uploaded to the internet, and was made with this event in mind so I may as well place it here. I understand if rules are rules and needs not be included in the poll... synths done with midi keys and ableton patches run thru and resampled thru sp555, 303 and 404sx. Drums are from the 404A kits... ( ! )
