Compression unintentional but good

not sure how everybody processes their audio . I like to pitch shift whole beats ( it's been my thing since started making beats of Fruit Loops back in the day)

anyhow . Point I'm gonna make is . Anybody else notice certain FX ( compress audio .. note in a good way . Certainly trims frequencies for a more rounded feel)

.. FX in the SP 505 . & 404 . I can only assume similar results with other equips

Yo, I also like to use compressor for "mastering" whole beats, usually makes them pretty crunchy ! Are you pitch shifting using the sp's ?

Yessir . I only own the 505 now . But yea man that's the process I've been using . Pitch shift then a splash of reverb and maybe 1 other effect
