In order to get my sounds out of reason and into my 555 i would first have to export the midi out of reason to wav files or mp3's then sample from cd or mp3 or cut them up in seprate programs such as ableton acid ext...or i geuss i could load it up in one of these program and sample through usb ...............right?

Don't render to MP3, go straigt to WAV 16bit 41000kHz
When you export from Reason you can specify how many bars and desired tempo... and you shoud have perfet loop. For choping loops there is a a freeware sample calculator or BPM calculator that will calculate for you exact lenght of a sample to perfectly fit in a composition.
I use good ol' Cool edit Pro or Wavelab for splicing samples and normalizatin (raising volume without ovecliping)

You could sample trough USB, but I'd rather use raw, exported wav, prepared in cool edit and just tosed on CF card.

I'd look into the option of using the SP-555 as the audio interface... Reason probably has the option to change the sound playback device somewhere (usually your soundcard or onboard soundcard will be selected there), change the playback device to SP-555 (make sure it's connected through USB) and you can directly sample whatever you output in Reason.

It should get rid of the entire import/export issue all together actually.

using reason and using the 555 for a sound card its tight and works well thanks for your help =)
