Alternate timings?

I just got my SP404 a week or so ago, and I was wondering if there was a way I could set the timing to 3/4 as opposed to the standard 4/4 timing? Lately I seem to be making cool 3/4 timing loops that just don't transfer when I want to record them into a pattern. Any tips from you 404 pros?

If you're working with 12 measures it can be done, but I'm not sure how to handle this on the SP-404 actually.
