mono resampling bug?
question for 606 owners. Is there a bug with resampling? I am trying to resample only the left channel. Here's the process. Route some drums into audio in left and some synth into audio in right. Record that as a stereo sample. Playing back I can hear drums in my left ear and synth in the right. Go to resampling, choose a new pad as destination, choose the sample you just recorded as the source to resample. Here's where it gets weird. If I set the sample type to stereo and hit preview, it works. If I set it to mono(l+r) it works, I hear both mixed. If I set it to mono(l), I still hear both mixed. ?? Shouldn't it just play the drums from the left channel? This is with both mfx and master off. Something is forcing it to sum l+r even when not set. I could get round it if there was an effect I could apply at the point of resampling that mutes the right channel. Not been able to find anything suitable. I have come to the conclusion that resampling is always in stereo or summed mono. What do you guys find?
Re: mono resampling bug?
I've only ever used mono lr. with only 8 voices theres not enough room to be playing around with that shit.
