SP404 as a rack sampler with live effects

Hello everybody. Newbie to this board, I would like to know if it is possible to apply effects on a per pad basis while the SP404 is slaved to an external sequencer ( FL, Ableton, MPC, etc...). I always conceived the SP404 as a minimal rack sampler. So let's say I have a snare sample on one pad in one bank that I trigger externally following its midi address (it's a note on a particular octave). Then I launch my sequence and decide to apply an effect to that particular pad while the sequence is running. Would the effect be applied ?

you can apply just one same effect (for all the pads), so yes you can

Thanks for answering. Do you mean the effect is globally applied on all pads (master effect) or that the effect can be applied to any pad individually ? "same effect", considering the pad and its sample you can choose another effect ? By the way I like your track very dryly drum driven ((:

^ .. yes . you can add the selected effect to individual pads . unfortunately . only the 1 effect across the board

Something I love about the 404...

Although you can only do 1 effect at a time, the settings for your past effects will be remembered.
