That's crazy I was just thinking of making a topic like this 8)
I'm trying to make that real raw, grimy, slimey, obnoxious synth shit, like antoje, dpee, tuxedo kamen, dr00p, all that team canaduh sounding shit. Any other artists to look at for inspiration? Anyone making synth music with their 404 wanna share their work flow?

stfu you know me and you are gonna collab. but yeah if anyone else is making this style we wanna know. we kinda wanna get it trending again. its the most punk shit coming out of SPs, and it hasnt been overdone because most lofi producers are lazy and just wanna jerk off while sampling jazz.

Any production techniques you guys have? I use sp404sx, along with korg minilogue and arturia microbrute. Im looking into picking up a second sampler. Right now i just sample single notes and chords onto pads and play it as if the SP was the keyboard or synthesizer.

Yeah I just got the sp and a microbrute. Usually I figure out what key in gonna be working in and find some chords. Then I play the chords on some software synth and chop it up on the 404, sample in same bass notes and melody notes from the microbrute and try to play out ideas to ableton. Then resample those parts together.

Let's get this thread going a bit again.
Sounds like you know what you're doing already but let's share the knowledge

I'll usually make a drum beat or ptrn with the SP, resample to another sampler or recorder. Pick a key, play some chords and notes with synths into the SP and chop, resample or play those into the ptrn, fuck with FX bouncing it all back and forth between 404 and 303 (or whatever you have)
Also check out Dimneon maybe

I usually use the resampling method on the 303 and just basically 2 track record my layers.

I just splurged and got a moog matriarch to add to my tool box. Should be coming in today or tomorrow!
