I've borrowed an sp404 OG from a friend. And after watching several youtube videos I've come across. The SX version looks WAY easier to use. I have an mpc2000 and s3200xl. Wanting something portable to take to work and work on music. I've found a sp404sx and a sp808 around the same price. give or take 20 bucks. Hoping someone who might have both machines could point me in the right direction. The thing I like most about the sx is the function button. Being able to copy easily w/out resampling. and being able to copy a pattern. I've read that the sp808 is like having ableton in a box. Which i do rely on ableton for mastering, and in some situations piecing together my loops made on hardware. Anyway, I know this is my first post, just trying to make a final decision so I can focus more on pushing buttons than trying to figure out which buttons to purchase. Thanks in advance
