Quick Question Regarding audio interfaceage

'ow do everyone,

Just thinking about investing in one of these 555 sampling oojamaboxes and I had a quick question:

If i am using the 555 as an audio interface with my laptop and I whack a pad will the sample still play?

Basically I would like to be able to use it as an interface and as a sampler at the same time, Greedy i know. I looked at the manual and it looked as if it can't be done but i wanted to check with people with experience with the machine.

Its not a deal breaker but it would save me lugging another box around with me to rehearsals and stuff if it is possible.

ya..it works as both at once. not only that but it also works as a midi controller at the same time.
