SP404sx sampling "noise"
Gettin good enough on this bitch to start dropping music but I have one problem I wanted to figure it before doing that. It seems when I sample from whatever (cd player, iphone, laptop) there is a high frequency buzzing noise over everything, it's not to noticeable but with a compressor on it's very noticeable, not enough to ruin the beats kinda adds a vibe but I would love to get it without that excess noise, it's bad on drums too since the hits are so short and when compressed the drums have a quick buzz after each one, I'm using line in to sample with radioshack brand rcas, would more expensive rcas do the trick or is this an inescapable quality of the 404sx? I wouldn't mind the purchase just don't wanna do it if it doesn't help obviously. Appreciate any help.

you should try and check your cords/RCA cables that may could be the problem

I bought the most expensive ones at guitar center and I still get the static
Re: SP404sx sampling "noise"
could be a ground loop issue, if so something like this could be a quick fix: http://artproaudio.com/isolators/product/cleanbox_ii/
admittedly i know little about this topic but am in a similar boat. getting one of these this week to try out.
