Open Challenge 2.0: Nightmare On My Street

Open Challenge reboot in full effect. Since we are nearing the finale of Halloween season, please join in embarking upon a Fright Night/Halloween themed beat journey. Of course any beat is welcome, wherever the creative process ends up taking you, but the samples both have a scary theme.

Open Challenge Rules: 2 week deadline (Wed 11/9, 9pm PST). Any outside gear including software is allowed. Outside samples are allowed. Must incorporate prominent use of material from either of the provided samples. Must highlight prominent use of an SP unit in your setup.

Anyone else got a beat in the works? I'm going to try to get something done between tonight & tomorrow night... Giving a 1-day extension in case anyone else wants to get something together. Sorry for lagging.

Alright Ella... I hope u find more time for making music very soon!

I made some progress on a beat and should b able to wrap it up tonight. I'll get the poll up tonight or tomorrow. I'd say end of tonight will do it for any last minute entries.

EDIT: Late night... this last minute stuff is killin me. :mrgreen:
Samples all worked over in the 808... repitching, chopping, effecting. Only had time to get into the Elm Street track. Bass and drums are from a Korg EMX-1... sampled into the 808 as loops. All arranged on the 808. Final embellishments via youtube.

Props to everyone who got in on this!

Working on the poll now. Should have it up this afternoon.
