Crossover for lo pass filter?

I got a Zoom SampleTrak, and it got a dope low pass effect.

But, I was diggin at local record shop and was browsing their audio equipment section and came across this crossover unit for $25.

Was interested in hearing if others used similar for a ghetto lofi lo pass filter effect?
