Hello,
So there was some dropping of my SP, some damage occurred...
Basically the line inputs are pushed in and now do nothing. Everything else works fine, including the mic input.
I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the inner workings of these things? Have I just popped a connection or destroyed my precious? Is it worth sending to Roland for servicing, and is that crazy expensive? I'm tempted to pop the hood myself, but figured I'd fish for some advice first!
Any knowledge would be deeply, deeply appreciated!

You'll need to know how to solder in order to repair or replace the RCA jacks. If you're not experienced, you're better off having someone else repair it.

might need the two rca's replacing. if you can find someone who's half deecent on solderring n that.
the case for the 404 is pretty durable .. but obviously the plastic frame can't take as much punishment
hopefully it will be an easy fix.
all the best luck

Take it so some kind of local electronics shop or a computer building and repair place. Maybe even a music shop that has a high standard of guitar repair and stuff like that. If they don't know how to fix it they will definitely have a contact that they send their own repairs to.

Thanks guys, that's some good advice. Think I'll take it to local place then. Fingers crossed
