What Device would you like to have?
What is something an SP user has always wanted to accompany them in production?
What is something you want that machines can't provide distortion , bass , synthesizing , vocal effects , patterns etc ANYTHING . Do you want a Kaoss Pro embedded into an SP-404 a DR. 202 embedded with an SP 202 ? a device with samples from all around the world with vinyl , lo-fi or even HD quality , ? Do you want a synthesizer that focuses on making your own kind of music Example an 'Experimental Music Machine' 'Future Bass Synthesizer' etc? Is everything else so unnecessarily expensive to you? 500$ and up for a synthesizer , 300$ for a MIDI keyboard that doesn't do everything you want it to? Tired of spending hours on your DAW and not finding crap? Do you want that all-in-one machine? Do you want a sampler that connects to other samplers for collab work? Tired of looking for a Drum Machine that isn't the price of a used car ? Would you like a machine that brings back sounds from your childhood? For example a nintendo sound box ? 90s sounds , 80's sounds , 70s sounds 60s sounds 50s , 40s , 30s , 20s , 10s soounds?
Give me your feedback , I'll Create the Machine , You name your price , you wreck the game.

Re: What Device would you like to have?
my main thing would be
Timeline sequencer for arranging vocals .. like a daw but all hardware built in .. as easy to operate as the Sp's
they need to get the 12 bit back into hardware samplers.. sp1200 sound so well rounded
sp beatmaking with timeline editing .. no computers required ..
bit like cubase simplified to .. record . cut . copy . paste .. with hands on parametre adjusent
plug in .. and easy function .. @ the touch of a button . ease of use + work flow is the difference between .. choice of equipment

Recently took delivery of a custom made dual SID chip synth, and its the craziest thing i've ever owned. Thought my gear lust would be satisfied forever but really all hardware has possibilities and I just want it all...
Teenage engineering OP-1 is still high on the list...
If you are building machines then something combining multiple video game console sound chips... Like a rack mount synth or mini portable box utilising gameboy and NES chips...
A sampler like the 404 with a built in analog synth haha...
A hardware version of nanostudio would be dope too! :O
The possibilities are endless.

SYNTH WITH ALL NES ,C64 & SEGA CHIP (Little, running on batt.)
AKAI S20 BUT IN MINI VERSION : SD CARD, BATTERIE , "real" RESAMPLE, FILTERS OR GOOD COMP + AT LEAST 2-3 BANKS
OG 404 WITH SD CARD , 16BIT , dBEAM , "PAD MODE" , MORE POLYPHONY, RESAMPLE WITH THE INPUT
EVEN JUST A SP 202 WITH RESAMPLE (SD CARD??haha)& 4 POLYPHONY IN STEREO COULD BE FATAL
OR QY10 WITH SD CARD , MORE SYNTH & DRUMS , AND "REAL TIME" CHORD PLAYING

Re: What Device would you like to have?
Since we've had this comeback of oldstyle analog boxes (Volcas etc) I'd like to see a resurgence of those Yamaha all-in-one sequencer/sound modules. Like the QY10 but instead of cornball 90s midi and XG soundcards it would have like trap kits and witchhouse patches or smth haha
Basically an updated Roland R-70 with more synth voices and small enough to fit in a coat pocket like the QY series.
I wouldn't buy anything like that now but go back 5 years and I would have been all over it.

It is very awesome, but quite a bit of menu diving involved. There is a ridiculous amount of control over two SID chips. I have been making a few tunes with it and the sound is soooooo fat compared to anything else. I actually don't even know where to begin with it. It was pretty cheap compared to anything that comes close to it like Elektron or Jahtari, but I also had to wait 3 years for the guy to finish making it. Cost was roughly $700 usd which I think is pretty good for a one off piece. But I was also very lucky to find an awesome talented guy that builds this stuff just for fun really
