SP-4040sx Technical Issues?

What up fellow sp users, im having some small weird problems with the 404sx. First off, when i resample a sound using the isolater or eq, and some other effects like the chorus, it wont sound the same as when i was just listening to it without recording. For example, ill eq a loop perfectly, resample to another pad, listen to it, and it will have a background hiss or small noise. I havent found a single thread about this issue and was wondering if i was the only one? i still have warranty on it so i just wanted to get more info before i contacted the seller. Thanks.
