Resample method and making it flow

I have a problem with getting my resamples (whole beat) flowing when I change to the next resample. It always leaves a second of confusion and makes it all gritty and not tight. The different beat parts are tight as my lill asshole but it still sounds like shit when I change. Is it me? Is there a technique?

And another thing, can you actually make the resampled beat change to the sequencers tempo in any way? Since I'm making my resamples without a metronome they are not perfectly in numbers of ex. 81-82-83, they are more like 81,3-81,7-82,3. You get it!

I hate to be the cat that says "practice", but practice, especially if you want things to be tight with the resampling method.
I think a lot of dudes here are into the grit and skippy/imperfectness and that may be why some of them go for the resample route, embracing flaws n lofi and all that cool shit.
But yeah, maybe in general practicing your timing when hitting the pads and all that, grab a metronome app on your phone and play along to it?

Something that may help your accuracy with tapping the pads is to make some "pre-taps", for example tap the beats of the preceding bar on some surface (table, chassis of the SP, or even in the air) and then tap the final tap to trigger your sample/beat.
Kind of like conductors showing the orchestra a few beats or even a full bar before anyone actually makes a sound. And when playing in orchestra I often tap my feet faster than the time signature. With common time 4/4, I often tap every 8th note with my foot to be more accurate with my timing.

Biggest tip i wish i would have know while re-sampling is put the fucking loop in reverse and cut off the end point until its clean.

When its in reverse you can hear the dead air and chop it out.

Thus a clean loop.

get an external peace of kit .. or DAW to record loops to .. i recommend the boss 505 (or similar looper) .. infinite overduvs to 1 channel .. but also 5 channels on to utilize ..

does cos hundreds of pounds though .. good investment
