Ella! Hey man.
Yeah I'm OK, things have been a bit difficult the past couple years but it's all coming good now!
What've you been up to? What gear are you using these days?
I haven't got a sampler at the moment, just grabbed a TR-8 and an electribe 2.. I suppose I could load the electribe with the electribe sampler OS, but Im happy using it as a synth.. Will be looking to get something a bit more freeform for portable sample/resample work in the near future... When are they gonna release a new SP!? :p maybe never I guess.

Re: Yo
i heard good things about the new Tribes...
for now im using more the mc909 and some lush "satellites" as the sp303 sp505 st224 or sp606...i havent still teach myself the rs7000 and the asrx enough... i have a Vsynth wich is a beast of sampler synth...i rebought a boss dr606 for the sake of trying to do or understand this damn sequencing a la first- squarepusher-period (sorry for the badly sarcastic english : ) )wich i should do -and i do- easly with just the mc909...i reashume from the vault 4tracks casserttes recordrs too with an ancient midiman sync tool to make things working in sync with cassettes and midi via fsk signals...i sometimes use the very good an200 as a dirty virtual analog synth and also as a weird and surprising midi seq controller...i bought an su200 for very very cheap and a vss200 too, strange samplers from yamaha, and a cheapy fm synth from them the pss 390; also bought a clone of the cool phase distortion synth Casio ht700, the Hohner ks49...
all this in the last 3 years...
life was strange and sometimes bad during those years but now it is a bit better

Re: Yo
We're just hiding in the shadows. I still have a couple of my SPs kickin around. I was thinking of putting them in a time capsule for future beatmakers to discover in 100 years

Please tell us the site is gonna get a makeover with features to embed youtube vids and soundcloud on our posts.
BTW, great job keeping out the spambots
Yo Ill Green! That would be great, but the problem is my brother Keesj did all the programming and technical stuff and he doesn't really have the time for it anymore because he is busy with his own website that's actually paying his bills. If we would decide to update the website we will have to start charging users for it. And I'm not sure if users would wanna pay for a subscription or that the forums will slowly die out.
