Installing SP 555 drivers windows 8

I need help installing the drivers. i get to the screen "ready to install the driver." then it says "please use a usb cable to connect the sp 555 and your computer, and then turn the power of the sp 555, and wait. the driver will be installed automaticallly." after doing all this the driver never installed. I was wondering what to do
