SP Beat Battle #174

THX_for such a great battle last week I hope you guys enjoy this one.

This week I wanted to change it up a lil bit.

I have listed the downloads for 2 classic drum breaks below

The Honey Drippers- Impeach The President

RULES

1.You MUST use one or both of the drum breaks listed
2.You MUST use the sample given (obviously)
3.NO outside drums
4.Outside bass is ALLOWED
5.Keep the beats 1-2 minutes nothing ridiculous
6.ENJOY yourself.

DEADLINE: FEB.4th

outside drums aren't allowed, but can we use outside samples (vocal shots, acapellas, sfx, etc.)? just something to clarify.

Yeah no problem with outside samples its just that the only drums you can use are the breaks

Real quick this one, used only provided samples. Juggled the breaks, sampled via envelope filter to pull out the bassline then resampled it all thru the tape-sim.

YEAH! I wish I had impeach the president so bad I have that al green break though and rainmaker from the 5th dimension and them stanley clarke drums haha glad you like it man

HOLY SCHMOKE!!!! awesome track, thanks for the introduction, can't find the vinyl. its on eBay fro like e£400 or something, saaaaaay whaa? Really enjoying this track hopefully be able to come up with something for this!!!
