Max amount of times you resampled to get the sound you want

Just curious, what do you think is the most amount of times you resampled a sound to get the exact sound your are looking for?
i think my max is 5...typically for filtered basslines

well, to be honest i don't know...sometimes i easly pass 5 times, it depends on what i'm searching for...i normaly use to end with comp+rev, but before them a hell of bunch of different fx are there
