I used to do a majority, if not all of my production on my SP404sx. However, these days, I have been wanting to incorporate a DAW in my workflow. I realized that I want a solid mixing capability, and also the option to record midi vst's over my basic loops. Leading to my question...
1. Can the SP404sx be used as a midi controller, like the MPD? I like the pads on the SP.
2. If I can't do the above, how can I sequence bounce my drums into Logic? I have used the midi sync, but since the SP's don't have track mutes on the sequencer, I just copy the same sequence and delete the portion I don't want.
3. Is it just me, or is the midi sync always a bit off when you guys track out of the sp? For example, If I have a 2 bar loop that I midi sync, track out to Logic, when I loop that in Logic, it always clicks when it comes back around.
Thanks for reading, good looks!
