turn pattern into a loop

Once you make a pattern in sp4040sx, you can turn into a loop?
if so, how can I do???

If you wish to resample a pattern and make it into a single sample, it's not possible within the SP-404sx. If you record the pattern into another machine (DAW, tape deck, multitracker) you can then reverse the process - and sample the audio from the other machine back into the SP-404sx and put it as a sample/audio loop on a single pad.

I believe this is a pretty common complaint with the SP-404sx.

If I recall the 505 and 303(?) can resample pattern (and sample + input together).

I'm sure someone can verify my terrible memory and correct me, but I think this is true.
