Playing live of mr. Dibiase?

Someone knows, how the process of sampling and playing live of mr. Dibiase?
I want to do somthing like he does!
I think, he, record songs pieces, making loops, then mixing while adding some effects, without using the pattern mode.
I'm right?

I spoke to dibi a while back and he said that he used the both the MPC (2000xl i think), along with the 404 for effects and the vinyl sim (you can tell just from hearing it), and tons of other softwares like reason and ableton etc.

I think he chops his samples from vinyl and records them into the MPC, so basically, the SP 404 isnt all he uses. You might be mistaken with the fact that he uses the 404 during most of his beat sets.

What people use never really matters. Its the sound they get from it.
