juzt gave this whole beat tape a listen.
not a weak beat on it. mad props man. i love "track17 basics". one of the nicest beats ive heard in a long time, from anyone.

is this whole thing a totally 404 joint or use some other gear?

Its mostly all vinyl and 404. The only thing that isnt off vinyl is some leftover drums from battle. and everything is 404 except maby 2 or 3 tracks got some mixing help from the br600.

these beats are top-notch man. i love the variations you use, no beat ever stays in one pattern for long. your chopping skills are amazing, you really have a good knack for arranging things. basslines are tight as hell too. i love this style of raw hip-hop

second all drewzle said - this is fucking a - - real subtle phrases, smooth changes, those drums have become our favourites from the battles.

great late nite stuff - smoky and dark.

a real inspiration to everybody of what to do with the ol' box - and very little else.

track 4 n track 12 are the standouts for me but juxt u know cover to cover u untouchable right? well if u dont know now u know. drums r solid throughout, love how u dont always use a standard hat on some tracks, also diggin how u go from a dull soundin snare on some tracks to dat up-north pop on da snare on other beats. all around well done. would comment more but da forums have mostly spoken for me on this masterpiece
