Post by LesPasta »

I'm looking for some break records with breaks from analog drum machines.. not sure how good my chances are to find any… I'm open to alternative suggestions. Thanks

There was a bunch on vinyl back in the day. Mostly used for House music but I looped a few for Hip Hop. Think it was called Acid Breaks. This was back in '91. But try your luck with genres that use those drums heavily and you shall find,

If you can find them the Le Jad breaks are full of that stuff.

Classic Beats & Breaks Vol. 4 on Scarface Records from 1995. Nothing but 808s and the like. Another good source is Jeffy Lube Production Tools LP..loads of drum machines on there and all one shots, too. The audio on that Jeffy Lube LP sounds very compressed which I kind of dig.

I'm pretty sure the MachineDrum Cached LP is a battle tool with all sorts of mutated drum machine sounds..grab that joint!! I'm pretty sure you'll find something righteous on that.

I recently found a bunch of 12 inches from the 80's. old electro stuff and some really cheesy too. But for 808 miami-bass type beats, it's the best.
