a couple of modern studio questions

hi , just wondering how much experience is required to get up and running a digi003 console and new mac computer ?

what other interfaces and pre amps / monitor units will be neccecary for a complete computer protools setup ?

I guess that's it, The thing is I know nothing about mac so trying to avoid any problems before i set up this rig.

i should also ask, would a 002 rack i/0 be more feasable for home studio ?

or even better! a more affordable I/0 (pre) ?

also , A rack mix down recorder will be accompanying this particular setup.
