Sp 404 battery tips ?? (rechargable options?)

So I got the 404 except the batteries run out so quick. Is there any good rechargable batteries ?. How much longer will they last. Is there a mod to make the 404's batteries last longer?

I bought an external battery which lasts a long time and I also bought Sanyo rechargables. The rechargables are cool- not sure how they last time wise. They also die quicker once the 404 starts blinking from low batt but not a big deal. Also the charger I got with them only charges 4 at a time which is not a prob for me.

I think they are worth it and the battery pack is def worth it.
