While starting sync (MIDI) first note won't play ... ?!

Hey everybody...
I wanted to sync my 404 with my mpc1k.
Everything is cool with that, but sometimes if I start playing that mpc track, the 404 lights up and plays but the first note (1.1.) won't be played ?
(After the pattern of the 404 has done one circle, it's allright! it's just happening after starting to play... )
I remember I have this prob also if I want to sync my 404 with cubase...

So, what's up with that my friends ?

try this:
press << on the MPC so it begins at the start of the sequence, then press Play and it should all flow smoothly
