What do you guys use twitter for? I never got into it over the past years and still don't really know what it's good for. I'm not trying to knock it.... maybe I'm just getting old. This is also coming from the guy who doesn't use Facebook either.

just another way to stay 'connected' yo but i rmemeber in my facebook days, it interfered with my well being to the point i started reciting my facebook posts in my head till i made another one, then i always though no one was pressing like on my posts because they were jelous, then i got mad at everyone and started being mean to them in my posts. but still no one will email you anymore, maybe respond to a facebook message tho.

stay connected or maybe another distraction, im with formal on this one, no social media for me.

Twitter atm is my least used social media site, but for me it's another way to get my music out there and to connect with like-minded people.

i can see many reasons why some don't want to be involved in social media, but for me facebook is easily the most convenient way to keep up with what my favorite musicians are doing. if i decide to close my account, i will probably start a new one that is anonymous for music updates.

My twitter account got hacked faster than any other account I've ever had so I dropped it. I was only using it to get incoming links for stuff I was interested in, like tapes and Petitcom.

Other than that, I found it redundant and a form of outward self-absorbing look-at-me tom-foolery.

I felt dirty if I posted anything on it most of the time and didn't at least hype up a friend of mine or show something productive.

Otherwise, it was just blowing internet hot air..there's enough of that already.

I stayed off Twitter for years. But got back on it.
Someone told me about a show going on that they found out about through Twitter.
And someone linked me an upcoming cassette from one of my fav producers through Twitter.
So there was 2 good reasons to use it.
Sometimes when I'm bored I like to see what peeps are up to.
I hate Facebook, so Twitter works.
I've found alot of new music interests through it. So it's alright.
