SP-404sx 'timestretch'?

does anybody know if there is a way to expand a note in the sp-404 as if to make a chord or a pad from a single note? I doubt it but if anybody knows of any methods or software to use for this please let me know!!

hit a pad, press ''time'' and tweak some knobs idk which ones specifically but i know thats how u timestretch on a sx.
dont expect the time stretch to be clean shit tho, its choppy and all but it can give samples a new sound to em in a way.. especially for percussions and drums IMO

Have you tried 'pitch' or 'chord'? Those effects are designed to do exactly what you're describing.

yes they are, read the manual, its in the MFX.
but this isnt timestretch, its literally PITCH.
tbh when i editt pitch/speed i dont do it with the SX, i use other gear or even audacity.

Also to the OP-
Take your note, loop it, adjust it until it sounds smooth (sometimes playing in reverse or adding fx or EQ can make it smoother), resample it to new pad as long as you need it to be.
