RECORDING INTO FRUITY LOOPS

Post by JOHNSONDONTSURF »

When I'm ready to record a beat I use;

2 RCA to AUX cables.

One cable is coming out of the monitors into the HEADPHONE input on my laptop.

The other cable plugged into the 404s line out into the MIC input on my laptop.

Fruity loops then reads my 404 and I can record the beat directly into fruity loops.

The finished beat comes out rather low and not very clear.

So, my question is does anyone else use this SAME method, but KNOWS how to MIX IT on FRUITY LOOPS after?

Thanks for any help guys!

try any of these plugins to get a louder sound.

fruity compressor, will bring your mix up to volume,

sound goodizer ! will make you sound pro but it dangerously and extremely enhances your signal. quickest way to get a 'pro sound' -
however after a while, exciter become not very exciting and rather noisy and harsh.

fruity maximiser, this will maximise your sound, it has a limiter too.

you do need to know how these plugins work though, it's the basics so once you got those techniques down, your good to go.

you might need a external soundcard so you can get deecent quality/level ( if you have spare cash)

if you have a budget I can make suggestions 1.1
