i did a show for this band years ago before i really knew anything about sampling and synths, but whats going on is the drummer has triggers on his drums that set off different samples that are then manipulated by the other guy. its real cool even though the sound on the video kind of stinks since when they play its loud as balls. this is the drummer from lightning bolt if anyone knows them. i also heard they make alot of their own electronic equipment for sound manipulation.
