404 MIDI Question

When using the sp-404 as a midi controller (I will be using it with Live 7), can the pads and knobs be assigned multiple times i.e bank C w/ 12 pads and 4 knobs, bank D w/ 12 pads and 4 knobs, etc.? Does this make any sense? Thank you SP-404 community.

sp-404 has no MIDI Out

so you can't use it to control anything

Whoop there it is, I hear the korg padkontrol is nice and you can use it to control your 404 and add a roll and flam function. There should be one for a decent price on ebay.
