Just got my SP-555 and have a few questions

well hello all! My name is Stephen.

this is my first sampler...
my normal equipment is;turntables, mixer, SERATO, and I fool around with a MickroKorg... I never heard of a sampler really until my buddy introduced me to it and I LOVE IT. but I am having a little trouble doing this lol. I understand the basic concepts and what not. I figured out how to sample things, or put my own samples from my computer onto the CFI cards <--- easy stuff!

Seeing how I am a beginner in all this do any of you guys have a good song that is fairly easy to chop up and makes samples from? I was going through my music and records and was like "how do these guys do this so easily" lol. I know 1 on 1 time is important and thats what I usually do to learn something but a boost never hurts.

thanks man! I am already having fun haha, I downloaded the TD303 acidwave thing and its cool but the variety in the packs isn't what they describe...
