I'd say as a "lo-fi" beat, it serves it's purpose and is constructed in the traditional fashion that most beatniks choose to construct. It's good for that purpose, if you're looking for a little snack listen. If individuals are displeased with the beat, it's probably because you choose to go with very dark and distorted arrangements when it comes to your sound. Some might like it and some might hate it...just comes with the music field. I peeped your LAYFEDEF beat as well, and sometimes you might want to ease up on the various cutting, skipping effects that you add in. Here and there on the beat is fine, but every few seconds deprives the track of consistency. Just try to expand on the craft a bit.
