Tracking out 505/606?

since the 505 and 606 have 4 tracks, i'm wondering if anyone here has tracked them out (made a 4 track) to a daw or hardware recorder (the sequences, not playing live) and how they went about it.

with the 606 I do this when I have a good feel for the song already on the 606's 4 track, then I record the drums first, then play the samples, I dont know how to midi sync so I play the samples live over the drum track, if you want to sync the sequencer it works if you do a count in or punch in, using reset, it will drift after a couple bars though, unless its tapped real close.

you can use midi to sync it, I remember doing this with the MPC and br1180.
I set the 1180 to slave seq, and the MPC to master, ARM THE 1180 to rec.
Press play on the MPC and the 1180 will start recording, this is probably a primitive method, because you always have to start at the begining for sync.

606/505 don't have separate outs, so when i want more accurate mixes or when i want to improvise live beats, i use to extremely pan different elements (for example drums on totally left, EQd samples/bass on totally right) and then track out 2 different mono tracks. This allow me to after mixing those separate elements. I do this when i want a more "live feel" instead of recording tracks by tracks.
