the mv is really nice, but way to expansive for what it actually does.

i hear ya, i'm happy with what i have now. i wouldn't mind though if i was handed one. it don't even have to be an 8800, an 8000 is good enough & a turntable & lots of vinyl. i guess cause every thing is there, from multitrack recording to cd mastering, the all in one box solution. i need to dream a little, actually this would be my dream set-up...but i'd probably be lost just tryin to use it so....

Cool piece of equipment, I totally agree with you. If its for you make it happen.....I find gear lust to be a good thing

makin lo-fi type beats off of high end isht... just straight records & all what's in the mv...no outboard equipment... gear lust is kool for me cause i'm broke as a mutha...
