wudup yall, pretty new to the sp and have a few questions. id be grateful if you guys could shed sum light

how would i achieve this effect with my kick on the 404sx? kinda like where it drowns out the sample when it hits. i was able to do it in Reason but its not so obvious to me on he 404

2.mute outs? i now its possible but just cant seem to figure it out

There isn't a mute button on the 404, but you can turn all the knobs down on the isolator and that works pretty good. Just hold the remain button hit the pads you want to mute while still holding the remain button, then hit effects grab button and isolator.

step 1) crank up the kick (maybe resample it with the low-end cranked using isolator or EQ)
step 2) slap vinyl sim across everything; crank the comp; noise and flux optional
