Sequence question...

Hello folks...
I am just beginning to get to know this machine, so bare with me...
At this point I mostly just have drum samples (classic electro hits, 606, 808, etc) in there, and have been programming some drum beats to use in electro DJ sets. It seems like when I am sequencing, the machine starts to bog down after the loop is programmed to hit 5 or so pads at once. Is that all I get in sequence mode?

you should Resample your hits into Mono so they don't take up too much of your polyphony

the 404 has a 6 voice limit (if they are all Stereo samples)
this doubles to 12 voices when you're using Mono

to sample in Mono, just make sure that when you select the Ext Source pad, you press the Stereo button so that it is unlit, (same for resampling)
